Sara’s yoga journey began in October 2004 when she turned to yoga as a solution to chronic back pain. What she found instead was that it did so much more than ease her symptoms. Yoga taught her a new way of life, and it is what she has turned to constantly since then to ease her body and her mind. Through yoga, she has decreased her pain and anxiety, while increasing her endurance, self-acceptance, and mind-body connection. In June 2008, Sara graduated with a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification. The teachers in her training had backgrounds in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Iyengar, and Kundalini Yoga. She continues to practice a wide variety of yoga and in the past has taught beginning vinyasa classes. Yoga has transformed every aspect of her life. She has relied on its lessons in her workplace and in her relationships. Her yoga journey continues now through teaching a gentle vinyasa class at Inner Evolution Yoga. Her mission in this class is to help you all feel the same enrichment in your lives as she has experienced though yoga.
