Originally from Central California, Rachel moved to San Diego in 2000 to attend school at the University of California, San Diego. She swam at UCSD and was named an All American in 2001. After college she suffered from chronic pain and found relief in yoga. Having practiced yoga for six years, she decided to broaden her practice to include teaching. With a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors degree in Human development, she truly believes in the mind body connection and loves seeing the changes and improvements people make in both these areas with a regular yoga practice.
“It is through yoga and alternative medicine that I have found what I love to do. It’s such a rewarding experience to be able to share my knowledge with others and help them to a better state of being.”
