BrainDance Yoga 
Learn the 8 BrainDance developmental movement patterns and how to incorporate them into a yoga class!

BrainDance is a series of eight developmental movement patterns that babies move through in their first year of life. These patterns wire the central nervous system so that the brain can operate at its optimal potential. BrainDance patterns are essential for efficient and well-integrated movement (all human movement) and are the building blocks for the more complex movement we do throughout our lives.

In this workshop we will learn the 8 BrainDance movement patterns and then build a yoga practice based on them. A handout will also be provided that explains each pattern and its benefits, as well as a catalogue of various asanas that fit into each pattern.

Did you know that the physical poses of yoga, Asana, is only one of the limbs of yoga? There are eight limbs total! In this workshop, we will introduce and discuss the other limbs of yoga and explore how they relate and connect into our everyday life, as well as how they can be applied to our physical practice on our mat for a deeper experience.
Workshop benefits individuals curious about all the limbs of yoga and also those wishing to take their physical practice do a deeper level.
